I began designing Monzo’s first Custom Product Pages for Apple Ads in 2022, creating a scalable approach that could be applied across multiple products while remaining consistent with the brand and its design system. During this phase, I delivered over 10 CPPs covering Savings, Business Banking, Travel, Flex, Student Account and more, each tailored to different audience segments. My focus was on building a clear visual system that balanced performance and storytelling, setting a foundation Monzo could continue to grow and refine over time. Alongside design delivery, I worked with the Monzo team to build a roadmap for CPPs and delivered training on best practices, ensuring the internal team could use and evolve this campaign type with confidence. This initiative proved successful, becoming a core campaign type in Monzo’s marketing strategy and driving increased visibility and downloads.

Following Monzo’s brand refresh in 2024, I reworked existing Custom Product Pages and created new ones to reflect the updated identity. This project focused on evolving the visual system for Custom Product Pages I had built previously, aligning it with the refreshed colour palette, typography, and brand expression. Working closely with the Monzo team, I developed multiple design options for different products and refined the strongest direction. These rebranded assets helped ensure consistency across markets while continuing to drive performance and visibility in the app stores.

Motion Design
I created a promotional video that was used in a “Banking” themed Apple Search Ads campaign. I started by preparing a storyboard to outline the narrative and flow, then designed and animated the final video. Handling both the creative approach and motion execution allowed me to deliver a piece that felt consistent with Monzo’s brand while being tailored for performance in a paid environment.

I design static In-App Events that highlight new product features. Briefs usually come to me in written form, along with access to the “Book of Monzo” (design system guidelines), UI elements and photography, which I use to create several design options. From there, I refine the most suitable direction and set up the final event. When I first began working with Monzo, they did not actively use In-App Events, so I have also been involved in building the strategy together with the Monzo team, suggesting opportunities and approaches that have since become part of their marketing activity.

I worked on an animated In-App Event for Monzo’s annual 1p Saving Challenge starting January 2026. I received a written brief alongside animation references from the Monzo team, which I used to design and animate a set of event cards and mockups that felt consistent with the in-app experience. I collaborated closely with a Monzo designer on motion and with a growth marketing executive to ensure the event was set up and delivered correctly on Apple’s native platform.
