Visual Identity Refresh
I led the redesign of Depop’s App Store screenshots as part of their wider rebrand, working from an open brief through concept to completion. The project involved incorporating new campaign imagery and shaping a stronger narrative that connected with audience preferences. My role was to translate the refreshed identity into a clear, engaging set of app store visuals that pushed the brand forward while improving performance. This work delivered measurable results, increasing new installers by +5.58% and retaining installers by +5.85%.
Key design changes included:
Using Depop red in the background to enhance contrast and vibrancy.
Making the copy larger and more concise for better readability.
Adding UI pop-ups to highlight the main part of the visual and tie it in with the copy.
Adjusting the layout to a more dynamic version that reflects Depop’s personality.
Implementing up-to-date campaign imagery and UI to present the product in its most recent form while tying in external marketing initiatives.
Reordering features to better convey Depop’s product story, aligned with current user preferences and brand identity.
